NGT Hook Sharpening Clamp
A great little clamp very well made - just what the doctor ordered in fact. I've used it a few times now and I'm very satisfied with the results it enabled me to achieve. (Used in conjuction with the NGT hook sharpening file!). I would recommend this hook sharpening clamp whole heartedly. Tight lines everyone.

Hook vice
Ok item, but grip when clamping a hook is not as firm as I expected. Have not tried other brands so cannot compare if its better or worse than the more expensive ones.

Great quality without high price
This clamp works as well as any I've tried. Solidly built without the need to pay extortionate prices for similar, much advertised versions. I saw a review saying that the clamp wouldn't tighten onto a hook. That's probably because the user was putting the hook on the wrong side of the tightening block!

its good quality and great value for money and its great for holding my pike fly hooks for sharpening It not very often you can get a quality product for a reasonable price and I would recommend this hook vice to anyone that wants to keep their hooks shape it makes hook sharpening easer by being able to hold the hook at the right angle so you can consistantly sharpen your hooks and be confedent that you can depend on their sharpness its good quality and great value for money and its great for holding my pike fly hooks for sharpening It not very often you can get a quality product for a reasonable price and I would recommend this hook vice to anyone that wants to keep their hooks shape it makes hook sharpening easer by being able to hold the hook at the right angle so you can consistantly sharpen your hooks and be confedent that you can depend on their sharpness
