Very disappointed as I ordered the item described on the listing and in the photos and was sent a different model. Reached out to seller and they said return it and they would send the correct one on the next order. Ordered again and they sent the correct model but the item was in really bad condition, worn down and even cracked in one spot. Reached out again and they never even replied. For the price I would expect better equipment. The tag was covering the crack in the listing picture as well.

OMEGA VSJ843RS SLOW JUICER (masticating juicer)
I did a lot of research before I purchased this juicer, and am very happy with my decision. This juicer is on the small side, well made, and has a fifteen year warranty....a work horse. It is made for slow speed gentle juicing (43 RPM) which helps to retain the nutrients. Also, the Omega has an auto clean which helps for easy clean up. I highly recommend this juicer.

Does the job, but....
I like the Omega but I don't love it. I clean it after every use, and am bummed to see how much of the vegetables etc. are stuck in it. Also, some 'sludge' gets into my juice. I have had it less than a month, and even with daily cleaning and rinsing, the plastic barrel and spout are becoming discolored, making it look old. I have never juiced before so perhaps all of this is normal for a juice.I like the Omega but I don't love it. Amazingly efficient
Juicing with this thing is fast and super easy, because I run everything very briefly through my Vitamix blender and then pour the chunky liquid of macerated veges slowly into the chute of the Omega. Since the juicer doesn't have to work so hard, little particles of veges don't get stuck in the metal filter or tight spaces around the auger; therefore, all parts get cleaned by simply rinsing well (with possible exception of groove under bowl). If you make your juice in this fashion, refrain from pouring too much at one time through the Omega's chute, particularly in the beginning- you'll soon figure out how much it can take as a steady flow and be amazed, like me. Oh, make sure you replace the plug at the bottom of the bowl after you clean it! Quiet, efficient, versatile, well-made. Loving it so far!
Had it about two weeks and enjoying it very much. Doesn't wake up the house for early-morning juicings! Does a wide variety of produce well. A bit more pulp than I prefer in veggies, so I use a strainer....no biggie. Only needed reverse once or twice until I got familiar with how to feed hard items (carrots, beets, etc). Certainly slower than a centrifugal juicer, but I prefer the juice quality with this one. AND...it does greens much better than a centrifugal machine, which was very important to me. Cleaning is a bit easier than I expected. Overall I'm very happy with the machine during the first two weeks, and I'd recommend it to a friend.Had it about two weeks and enjoying it very much.
