Seller told me I was “taking the p*ss” offering below the asking price. He then went onto explain that I should just pay the full amount he’s asked for as I can “surely afford it”. We bought the item as it was what we needed in terms of size, but the “beautiful patina” that he sold the bookshelves on the premise on, had parcel tape all over it, leaving marks and ruining the wood. I was then told to go out and buy furniture polish which should help get it out. Rude. Untrustworthy. Chancer.
