Review about FUJIFILM FinePix S2500HD 12.2 Megapixel Di
The inspiration to buy a camera was my mate. She takes fantastic pictures of nature and urban, and as a result I decided to do so too. I chose this camera because it isn't that expensive, comparing to others cameras. And it also is a Half-Professional one - good quality of pictures and less problems than with fully Pro. The only minus (-) is power source. 4 A batteries are too simple and they can't live as long as a simple camera battery. My opinion is: Quality of pictures - 10/10 (12 MP speaks for themselves) Difficulty in using - 7/10 (the menu is a bit uncomfortable and to change modes from filming to searching library it is required to turn off/on the camera) Batteries life - 7/10 (4 A batteries can provide more than 200 pictures without flash, with flash it would be around ... I am remarkably pleased with my new camera. It takes good, clear pictures and is packed with features I find useful. The only limiting factor is the batteries. With a 16gb SD card inserted, it will hold as many pictures as I might take all year, let alone just a three and a half week holiday. The zoom is great; I can take superb close up pictures of all manner of things. I took a picture of a clock with a 70mm dial from 18 feet and could read the small print from the bottom of the dial. The video option allows me to take 30 minutes at a time, to the limit of the SDHC card. The camera is comfortable to hold and is light enough not to cause discomfort. My old 35mm SLR was never as easy as this. What else is there to say? I can't think when I will ever get to using all of the features of the ... I am remarkably pleased with my new camera. Spend a few quid more and buy a Panasonic
Not a bad camera if but you could do worse. I have had 3 series of the finepix bridge camera's and it is safe to say that I would never buy another. I will stick with the Panasonic Lumix from now on. The s2500 feels creaky and plasticky. The zoom lever jammed on more than one ocassion and when I taken pictures they would show up on the lcd and viewfinder in a warped manner. Just like I had taken a picture looking out my spy hole on my front door. If I taken a picture of a door the frame would show up with a massive bulge. For what fujifilm ask for these types of camera brand new is a bit of a cheek as you cannot attach lenses or hoods whereas other rival camera's have the ability to add lenses, filters and hoods. Why fuji don't do this puzzles me, I would never be tempted to buy another ... Not a bad camera if but you could do worse. Nice camera
Nice camera in good condition, has all the bells and whistles. Picture quality seems to be very good but at this time of the year I have not really had the opportunity to use it very much.Good size screen and seems easy to operate.
