Excellent Vintage Wagon in great condition at a reasonable price
This unboxed Wrenn wagon arrived well-packed and in very good condition with hardly any signs of wear. Based on the Hornby Dublo model, the Wrenn version was excellent for it's time and comes equipped with free-running insulated metal wheels and Tri-ang-pattern metal tension - lock couplings compatible with those fitted to most makes of current proprietary British-outline rolling stock. The item was supplied undecorated, thus enabling me to apply correct decals for this type of wagon. All in all, there were no faults with this wagon and it has gone into service on my own layout running with my collection of similar vintage goods stock. If you like Wrenn/Hornby Dublo, you can't go wrong with one of these. If desired, it would be straightforward to replace the Tri-ang-pattern metal tension - ... Buckeyes
It's fun collecting Wrenn wagons with buckeye couplings. Far easier to handle than the Triang tension and lock ones but it's best to retain the latter on the locomotives.
