    I liked it but ...

Even though it sped the internet up, it kept dropping out and my daughter couldn't get her iPad to work with it. I'm sure there were ways around those issues but this old woman and her daughter couldn't figure them out. We reinstalled the TalkTalk modem and plan on going back to it at some point.

  • Most critical review

Good, but not good enough for wireless HDTV

The router was easy to set up, and was handling the wired and wireless network quickly. The wireless N speed to my smart tv in the room just downstairs was not reliable above 2Mbits/sec, so I have put in a tp-link powerline kit which handles the full adsl speed of 8Mbits/sec. The modem hangs up maybe once a week and has to be restarted, but that could be an IS provider problem.

  • No regrets, would definitely recommend, great value and features.

Very good wireless router. I have found this product is very good value for money, probably the best that you will find. It has VERY good features, much better than in Netgear routers. A main issue with this router is that I think the antennas fitted on this router are not great. I needed to upgrade them to a higher dbi (costs about £5 for longer ariels). This also isn't a dual band router so isn't the top of the range/latest technology. (also not gigabit ports) Other than that, very reliable, very good value for money. Recommended to anyone who needs a new router!

  • Reliable and good value for money but 2 aerials aren't better than one! ;)

I bought this because the flashy double aerials suggest that it will have better wifi coverage that the average. In fact, I found that the signal strength was pretty much the same as with the one it replaced. However, it does have n wireless and wpa2 which my old modem router did not have and so it is an improvement. It was easy to set up since it has a wizard and you just select your provider and enter user name and password and I have no complaints about its reliability. It was also pretty cheap and so I would say good value for money. No bad points that I have found so far.

  • Easy to set up and brilliant connection speeds and signal.

I bought this router to replace my aged O2 Thomson router that was not wireless 'N' rated. It was simplicity itself to hook up and I managed to easily obtain all the correct settings from O2 to get the router up and running. Ever since then it has been brilliant. No problems anymore with low signal in remote parts of the house and even get a signal at the bottom of the garden! Hugely effective technology at a bargain price. Far superior to the stock O2 item that comes with the O2 premium broadband connection! Get one!
