About this product

Product Information

Gust's prolific alchemy-based RPG continues with Atelier Escha & Logy: Alchemists of the Dusk Sky, a sequel to Atelier Ayesha that emphasizes improved combat and synthesis systems, and offers two playable protagonists. Gamers can take control of Escha Malier, a 15-year-old official at the Development Department who only knows ancient alchemy techniques, or Logix Ficsario, an 18-year-old from Central City who specializes in new alchemy. Escha's light-hearted campaign was designed to appeal to series veterans, while Logy's more dramatic experience is aimed at newcomers.

Alchemists of the Dusk Sky finds the characters living in a world that has recently rediscovered the value of alchemy, and both Escha and Logy are part of a group working to build an airship that will let them reach the Unexplored Ruin. However, unique developments and sub-events in each character's life will give gamers a very different perspective on the overall story. As always, much of the gameplay involves locating and harvesting items and ingredients through exploration, combat, or transactions, with Escha specializing in potion synthesis, and Logy adept at drilling ingredients into weapons and armor.

Players are free to move around the 3D cities to shop at stores, recruit party members, and accept quests for the townsfolk. The overhead-view world map finds gamers traveling along a fixed path to various wilderness field maps where they can once again move freely to harvest ingredients or engage in combat. The new combat system lets up to six party members engage in turn-based battles, with three characters standing in the foreground, and three serving as rear-guard reserves. Success in battle depends a great deal on the use of support moves and combo attacks, with damage increasing after each hit, and devastating finishing moves available once a character's ultimate gauge fills.

Everything was ok. Fast shipping. Very well packaged. Good communication with the seller. Diskette is just as described. The photos in the ad are of the Diskette itself! I loved this Diskette!! It is part of the history of the old computer and Microsoft MS-DOS from the 80s. The Diskette is very rare and is very well preserved! I recommend the seller to everyone! I'm very satisfied! Thanks!
