This would be a useful gadget if you are not used to cutting in, when painting, or if your hand is not steady enough to precisely control the brush. A little practice is needed to get used to the feel of the brush and edge guard, so to start off with you may want to still mask up some of you edges that you want to protect. This is value for money.
