A lesson in the dying art of operating rather than driving a vehicle.
If you are looking to invest in a Series 3 Land rover, or like me insane enough to own one, then this is your invaluble guide to its little secrets, limitations and hidden mysteries. As it is extremely unlikely that any Series 3 offered for sale these days will have its original owners manual, then this handbook fits the bill. It also doubles, by the way, as a modern drivers guide to the quaint old days of 4x4 driving; when you had to manually open windows, put your bodyweight on the steering wheel to turn a corner and manually adjust the choke/ heater/ Lights etc.. in fact, manually adjust everything! (I would like to point out that the last sentence does not in any way imply that the Series 3 has anything that can be remotely described as a heater). In conclusion, do yourself a ...
