VERY disappointed in the straggly plant potted in bone dry soil as like to support local businesses. Tree Garden lady said she had meant to tidy it up before I collected and cut some dead bits of while I was there. I had opted to pick up the plant as we were in the area and hadn't incurred £13.99 delivery fee (I think the plant might have died in transit!). As I wasn't sure of the protocol in terms of not taking the plant once paid on ebay I took and have planted with care - fingers crossed.

You put yourself out to oblige. Leycesteria will always have some of last year's stems that need pruning out in spring. 2 were removed. As with all plants a good water before planting is advised. The plant will grow well if looked after properly in its new home. Say nothing to my face & then write this! BBL
