Item arrived fast, as described and with the best packaging and overall item protection and care that I have ever seen in almost 25 years of eBay purchases! I almost felt bad unwrapping it. It was really that perfectly wrapped and there was even a handwritten thank you on it! Whatever else this seller sells, rest assured that it is going to be well packaged and you will feel just fine with the shipping charge.

  • This is a good book

A delightful children's story set in the Alps. Adults will find depth as well. A story of childhood folly that brings a tragedy, bitterness, and desire for revenge. Lucien is the cause a severe injury to a neighbor boy. But the story turns on the theme of redemption. An unusual character, an old man with a past he has hidden, helps turn the tide for the boy antagonist that caused the original tragedy, and ultimately for others. It is a positive book, respectful, clean, kind, and worth the time to read. We read lots of books to our kids growing up and this is a top 5 book, it is that good. It was made into a movie too, which was excellent. But the book catches some of the depth that a movie cannot. Patricia St. John, thank you!

I loved this book! I teach 5th grade at a Christian school and one story out of our reading book was a chapter from this book. After the students and I read the chapter from our reading book, we all wanted to read the actual book. I bought it and read it completely within two days. It brought tears to my eyes. It is a wonderful story of how our anger can quickly get the better of us and how good it is to forgive others and not hold a grudge.
