    Alexa - she’s not really so bright

    Alexa’s inbuilt search engine is nowhere near as good your average Google. Maybe it’s the speech recognition software, I don’t know, but the fact is most questions you ask Alexa, she has no idea of the answer. Much better to type your question into Google where, most of the time, you will get the right answer.

    Nice home hub.

    I bought this mainly for my external camera only to find out it turns the camera feed off after ten minutes and you have to re start the camera request. Apart from that it has good sound and picture, lots of apps for video ie YouTube and prime etc. Great if you can get one under £100.

    Echo show 10in

    I have the 5in echo show so I bought the 10in one for my daughter, so I'll have to get the 10in model for my self as the sound is great and pictures are very clear. These are fantastic little machines with big sound,, good for karaoke too.

    It's such a clever thing. Great sound for music. Brilliant for recipies as you get videos showing how to do it. News, pop videos. All sorts. It's totally visual. We love it. Going to get the kids one each for Christmas. Then we can call each other like face time.
