I won this item in auction and the seller dispatched the item and sent a tracking number. I then received a message saying the had cancelled the order and was going to refund. The reason stated was that the watch was still tied to the cell provider for longer than expected after the contract cancellation and wasn’t ready for dispatch. There was no communication regarding the issue just a cancellation which is what I would have preferred.

Before I sent the item to the buyer I double-checked that the cellular watch had been “freed” from O2 - as I had been told it had been when I had cancelled the airtime contract. I was told that because of technical delays it would still be linked to my number for a month even if the contract had finished. I therefore decided to fully refund the buyer and explained why I had done so. The item was not sent to the seller - the eBay system shows it as despatched when postage is purchased, not sent
