Item was described as "Acceptable" and it was and maybe even a little better than that. I did look through it briefly and there were some lightly underlined words done by pencil, but nothing more major than that. None of the pages were loose and there was no offensive odor. The shipping was very good as the book was placed in a cardboard sleeve and then put into a soft padded envelope.
