Classic 1960s TV
Mr smooth before his big James Bond break . Really enjoyable series from that classic 1960s decade ,Roger Moor is superb as the suave good looking special agent who takes on crime criminals and corruption everywhere ,but still dishes out justice in a polite gentlemanly fashion . The sets are classic 1960s styles and fashions ,including the saints Volvo coupe car. I have enjoyed watching every episode ,clever acting makes you wonder who can you trust ,which character will double cross the others ,but of cause the saint is always one step ahead of the criminals . I liked ‘The Saint’ when it was first broadcast in the 1960s. These DVDs brought back the good memories from then. The stories are varied, include many locations from around the world, and contain actors who later became familiar in films and TV series.
