Excellent photo quality for the price and great zoom.
Fantastic photo quality. Excellent built in zoom. I had one of these cameras for ten years before it expired on me and this is just as good as that one. The 10x zoom is as good as a 200mm lens on some DSLR's but far more portable and easy to carry around. Also the macro facility is excellent allowing ultra close up shots to be taken.

I would recommend this camera to any one
This camera lived up to all expectations,Stunning photographs and easy to use. Practical size and good quality finish. Suitable for the beginner and the advanced photographer. The 10x zoom is very good and smooth. Performs better than most comparable cameras at price. If you want an honest camera that gives good results and is forgiving of your lack of skill,then this little offering from Fuji will fit the bill nicely. I would recommend it to any one that requires a camera that any non professional can use at any time.This camera lived up to all expectations,Stunning photographs and easy to use. Practical size and good quality finish. Suitable for the beginner and the advanced photographer. The 10x zoom is very good and smooth. Performs better than most comparable cameras at price. Got a lot for the price.
Ok I'm new to photography, apart from the compact of my partner, on my phone and an old SLR (with three spot lens that are worth a few bob). Its something I've thought about for some time and can't afford DSLR. I saw this one and the next modal up which was going to be my first choice for reason other than it had more MB's. I read another review that got me thinking. This one only had 3.1mb, but could be switched to 6mb. That and the adaptor ring for adding filters, telescopic lense and such. In the end a proper bargin, better than anything I'd got upto yet, a great way for me getting used to working something close to a DSLR. It came with a case, two XD cards and sholder strape. I was extremely happy witht the amount of functions on the camera. This also helps with getting used to ... Best product i have bought on ebay so far
Fantastic camera - Has the look and feel of a full digital SLR with all the quick and simple features as a cheapy digital camera. Great for taking mutiple shots at sporting events. The one draw back is that the view finder is not a clear look through piece it is also a digital screen that shuts while the photo isbeing taken so you have to guess where the action is going but that is easy enough to do. Fuji S5000 - An Excellent Camera!
As I already have the sister model the S5600, I decided to purchase this one as a back-up model given its reliabilty and ease of use. The 10x optical zoom was one of the principal factors behind my decision as was the use of AA batteries. I was overtly impressed that the picture quality is incredibly clear and sharp for a 3.1 MP camera. I would recommend this model camera to my friends.
