The Nokia 9300 is an excellent PDA. However it is a better idea to buy it new rather than used. It does not have wi-fi or 3 G. It does not receive calls or make calls well in rurual areas. I dont. know if that was because it was bought used. Thank You.
Well, where can I start. This is the second time I have owned a nokia 9300. I will first lay down the very few cons. 1. No camera 2. A little on the large side (read more and you will see that it is not so bad) That is the only cons I can think of. So, Now for the pros. 1. Conectivity, Internet, Infra red, Bluetooth, cable and sinc with pc. 2. Wow, that a large inside screen this phone has. ( this is the reason the phone is large, But the extra screen size is well worth it) 3. Ease of use, Key all laid out and easy to find. Menus easy to navigate ( as with most nokias) 4. Full QWERTY ketboard, Makes writing texts and browsing the internet much easier and faster. 5. Mouse toggle key for browsing the internet, makes it a breeze. 6. Great built in speaker for listening to your music and having phone conversations hands free. 7. specialised buttons to make navigation easier and faster than ever, include: desk, telephone, messages, web, contacts, documents, calender. 8. personal navigation can be set to your own preferance. 9. Large 80MB built in memory with a MMC card slot to expand. 10. although this phone has the large screen and lots of functions, it also has a great battery life. 11. document reader, sprrad sheet reader and calculator. 12. File manager, Makes managing files easy. 13. realplayer (videos), voice recorder, image viewer and MP3 player. 14. I know every phone has an alarm clock but the alarm clock on the 9300 is far better that any other phone i know of. Multiple alarms can be set, also and be set for everyday, on 1 perticular day, in the next 24 hours, weekly and a certain day or on every working day( you can set which days you work). This means that you will never forget to set your alarm and never be late for a meeting or work again. 15. With the quality of the screen and games, it can be used as a portable games console. There are many other features of this phone that makes it one of the bet you can buy, this is the reason I got a second one. I hope that this review helps you decide if this phone is for you, Im pretty suere that unless you need a phone with a camera, you will not be disapointed with what thw 9300 has to offer. Thanks for reading my review.Read full review
Bought to replace my broken 9500. If your an ex Psion 5MX / Revo user - you'll love this (apart from the lack of touchscreen) as it's a full Phone +Psion in colour with all the base apps as you remember them (OK not the Data app..). Geat agenda app; email; web (apart from sites with Java errors..); GPRS; spreadsheet; document editor; really it's a mini computer with a phone attached. I also have Wayfinder 6 for S80 as my SatNav (linked to a TomTom Bluetoorh pocket GPS receiver - excellent combo. I looked at an Android phone, really liked them but I'm on PAYG and use £100 a year at most - so paying £90+£40/month for calls I don't/ can't make was daft. I work in an NHS hospital so really a cameraphone is not a great idea (privacy) and building kills any phone signal esp in the basement. I would also have to buy a new SatNav app at ?£60 per year. This phone does almost all the current smartphones do,; no 'social apps' but I'm not interested in those; battery life is c4 days for me; reception seems v good; responsive to buttons (my 9500 had started taking 4 sec to repond to each press...). It's small enough but opens up for a decent keyboard - I 'm not into texting using T9 predictive text rubbish. Looks like a 'candybar; phone but opens up to much more. Over 5 yrs with my Nokia 9500 communicator was very pleased with it but didn't use Wifi or camera much. Looking forward to the same with thisRead full review
This is the business user's phone, all the right gadgets, bluetooth, infrared, email, fax, mobile internet, Realplayer (MP3), calendar, full QWERTY keypad even with a small mouse button, Document word processor, spreadsheet, calculator and the inclusion of Acrobat Reader to view pdf files. The easy ability to write emails, view the internet (news, weather, etc...), and sending faxes, makes this the Business users phone However this can be useful for the standard consumer, as a lot of people have come to use SMS texting, with the use of the keyboard this is much simpler, making it easier for new users of phones and the elderly. On some down points, noting that there is no FM Radio or a integrated camera the Nokia 9300 can be criticized. However a fantastic phone.
