In the small coastal town of Capeside, Massachusetts, a group of high school friends come of age, each with their own set of trials and tribulations. Affluent 15-year-old Dawson Leary (James Van Der Beek) idolizes Steven Spielberg and wants to be a filmmaker. He has been friends with Joey (Katie Holmes)--who lives across the pond with her pregnant sister--since they were both five, but their friendship is changing now that their hormones are kicking in. The arrival of attractive new girl Jen (Michelle Williams) changes their relationship in even more, unexpected ways. Meanwhile Dawson's friend Pacey (Joshua Jackson) finds himself embroiled in a sticky situation with a pretty young teacher.     Dawson's Creek Season 1

    I loved Dawson's creek but each season is still selling in the shops at around £35.00 and with 6 seasons would be costly, so I decided to buy through Ebay. This season is great taking us back to how it all started with Dawson and Joey, when they were all still pretty innocent and finding first love. Its about a teenage boy and his best friend, the girl across the creek (who is secretly in love with him), their friend Pacey and new girl Jen. Mainly one for the girls I think, its about coming of age, finding and losing love and all the ups and downs of teenage life. WARNING - once you have seen the first series it will have you hooked and you will be compelled to watch the complete series 1 to 6.

    The complete first season of the super successful TV show in which four teenagers from a small coastal town near Boston struggle to come to terms with adolescence...     Dawson's Creek Season 1

    I vaguely remember watching bits of it years ago when it was on TV. When I recieved this DVD pack I sat and watched episode after episode, it was great. I am now looking to complete the set and collect all seasons!!!

    Dawsons Creek series 1

    I watched this shjow orginally in the repeats shown on channel 5 and loved it so much i wanted to buy the boxset to watch the complete series, and it did not disapoint as the relationships between the characters of dawson,joeym pacey and jen create a not only a great tv show but a stunning piece of writting, direction, acting and film work. What i found so great about this series was that although you are rooting mainly for dawson and joey you also find yourself connecting to the 'obstical' character of jen and also empathising with pacey in his advances with joey. Overall a great production and i cant wait to watch series 2.
