Skipper's first ten ensembles were smaller interpretations of well-loved Barbie outfits, establishing a consumer buying pattern that Skipper was a doll needed to complete the family. This long-awaited second edition of Skipper - Barbie Doll's Little Sister features 16 additional pages of never-before-seen items including rare dolls, prototypes, and gift sets, and a new, updated price guide. Included are U.S. and foreign market Skipper dolls and friends, their clothing, licensed products, and gift sets manufactured from 1964 through 1978, the last year the first face mold was used. An entire chapter features all domestic and foreign issues of Skipper doll's tiny twin brother and sister, Tutti and Todd, spanning their production years from 1967 through 1980.

    Great Resource Tool, Informative, beautiful photos, well researched

    I am a vintage barbie collector with a large number of Barbie, family and friends. This book was a great resource and I would highly recommend it to anyone that wants more knowledge on Skipper,her friends, their clothes, Tutti and Todd, their clothes and their friends. I have many reference books but none on Skipper as informative. High quality photos that make the text well worth the price, which is reasonable to begin with. Kudos to the authors and I hope they continue this great resource work.

    Excellent book! Great value for money!

    Excellent book with lots of information about Skipper and Tutti. It's bright and colourful with lots of pictures. My only problem with it is now I want, want, want!! =D Wish all the Barbie books were as organized as this one. Has index in back with everything in alphabetical order so you can search for stuff without going through the whole book.
