While he must contend with a formidable foe in the villain known as Kristatos (Julian Glover), he does have the lovely and talented Melina (Carole Bouquet)--the daughter of a scientist killed by Kristatos--on his side. For fans craving their old favourites, Blofeld, Moneypenny and Q all put in appearances. The stunts come fast and furious, most notably a breathtaking race down a ski slope at the film's opening. Classic vintage Bond, with interesting additons on the second disc.
We bought this as we know Northwest Corfu very well, and although it often purports to be Spain, most of it is Corfu. The additional DVD has a section set in the mountain village of Pargi, halfway between San Stefanos North and Paleokastritsa where the 2CV falls on its side. The cafe there is still called the "007 Cafe" and the German Cycling club cycle up 800 feet tt Greek Dance there twice a week!. Opposite is a delightful traditional taverna where breakfast for 2 costs about 5 euros.The casino is the Achilleon Palace, and "Albania" is the port of Corfu Town- now you can visit Albania for real for about 60 euros all in- World Heritage Butrint is a must.We bought this as we know Northwest Corfu very well, and although it often purports to be Spain, most of it is Corfu. For your eyes only -james bond DVD
It was a double disk and I needed it to complete my colection of James Bond films. I have no dislikes about it. The price I paid on ebay was a fraction, even with postage, against the cost of high street retailers including supermarkets.

Another great Moore Bond.
starring Roger Moore, Carole Bouquet and directed by John Glen Agent 007 is assigned to hunt for a lost British encryption device and prevent it from falling into enemy hands. A British spy trawler is accidentally sunk off the coast of a Warsaw pact county. On board is a hi-tech encryption device called an ATAC which the British use to send launch instructions to their Polaris fleet. The British send agent James Bond to investigate but once the Soviets learn of the loss the race is on to recover the device at any cost. There wasn’t much further 007 could go as far as sci-fi wizardry and fantastic characters after the cartoonish MOONRAKER that had seen James Bond propelled into space. What was called for was a `back to basics’ approach that emphasized realism, exotic locations, less ... starring Roger Moore, Carole Bouquet and directed by John Glen Agent 007 is assigned to hunt for a lost British encryption device and prevent it from falling into enemy hands. I enjoyed this dvd.I bought it mainly because some parts were filmed in meteora, Greece. I have visited this beautiful, fascinating area. I always enjoy a James Bond film, especially one starring Roger Moore.
