I bought this as a present for my brother, who at the age of 79 wanted to take up digital photography. (His old box brownie had finally bit the dust!!) My wife had actually had the very same model from when it was first on sale.(about 10 years ago) I have had several semi pro digital cameras over the years but use my wife's Fiji quite often as it is so compact and can be stashed in ones pocket easily. I have been very impressed with the quality of the results and tend to use it more or less all the time now. Build quality is excellent and the features such as macro mode, video and iso selection along with a refreshing amount of simplicity made it an easy choice to buy for a digital virgin. I can recommend it highly.
For a camera of this size and cost I am very impressed with it . I have had one of these for 8 years and it still works well, the battery still performs well . the only thing any camera with this lens size can beat this one with is the ability to do continuous rapid shooting .this camera has not got that function. Like any camera this size it will not get very good pictures in the dark , night time city scapes etc for that you need a large lens, but within the realms of what a compact pocket camera can do I cant fault it.

This camera was bought to replace one which I had stolen. The insurance company replaced it with the newer Z90 which I didn't feel comfortable using. I have used this camera as a back up when on photography days out and have even entered competitions with the photos receiving good reviews from judges. The camera is easy to use and I particularly like the build quality and size of the camera. All in all for the money a very useful and pleasing camera to use, more than happy to have bought another one, in fact another two!
This camera was to replace one of the same model therefore is not state of the art, brand new. My daughter wanted a small camera and I couldn't find a newer one that was as small as the F450 so I stuck with what we knew. Its a good camera for basic family snaps.
I brought this camera as a replacement to the one I lost while on holiday in USA. We bought another one while away, but was not as happy as we were with the Fuji, so decided when I got back home to find one on Ebay, which I did. It takes excellent pictures and has the docking station which is a very good thing, as it sits on your desk, next to the PC, and you can transfer pictures directly onto the PC. It is very easy to use, no complicated settings to contend with, just aim and shoot.
Very handy little camera fits easily in pocket or in belt pouch. I particularly like the battery charging and photo transfer cradle. Have taken some excellent shots. Battery life pretty good too. Used extensively on European 15 month travel, never let me down. Became like an old friend.
I am very happy with my lovely little camera. It takes some beautiful snaps and has many simple yet effective features. The uploading method is straight forward and the software that accompanies the camera is second to none. This comes complete with a programme on which you can make your own cd / dvd of your photographs or short videos and this is very simple. Super! I love it!!!
