Very good set of DJ decks.
I bought these as I was intregued on the functionality, been a avid DJ of electronic music for over 23 years I have of course used many of the technologys out there and use Pioneer at present. I have seen these over the years and also had a friend that bought some but never got the chance to use and seeing all the bad press I was very put off, but to my amazment I managed to get an amazing deal and they arrived the other day. I opened the package and got the deck out they are very sterdy and built like tanks just like the original 1200s solid and that is a first plus for me. I got them set up and tested they run smooth and are the same really to my pioneer but of course the play is very different. Use of the technics they are very much like vinyl and using them it feels the same as or ... I have still to have a full mix on both of these yet but I am very satisfide with them and I will be keeping for my studio very good buy and very pleased, anyone that has not yet tried them I would before you make a comment about them as like myself you will be amazed not like pioneers or denon but well worth it.

Superb CD player, now even better with Serato integration via SD card with timecode. Ignore the haters, because two of these together with a two deck 4 channel DVS controller in between, and your set up nicely for 4 deck scratching mashups. Also just one player would be a great addition to any studio. Current owners feel free to laugh at anyone who sold these, pre DVS.

SL1200 cd player
As close as you get to the turntable. Found it easier to mix with this and a 1210 than a cdj1000. my friend thinks differently when we were testing this. Motor seemed a little weaker, but actually it was easier than using the 1210!!! Fabulous kit, love using it.
