There was no protection in the box to deal with potential damage in transit. One of the legs was broken in transit. Seller did state some wear and tare due to age and did show two photos of damage to one of the knobs and showed the different coloured piece of wood used, but what was not shown was the damaged lid which someone had tried to repair with the different coloured wood and a very poor repair on the legs. It is okay and I can probably fix the issues and would have still bid if I had know
