Rivendell Books is a rare seller who goes above and beyond to provide stellar service! They are kind, communicative, prompt with shipping, and take care with packaging. I have them saved as a favorite seller. Any interaction with them is a pleasure- like coming in from the cold to a warm fire, good food, and gathered friends! I wish there was some way for EBay to allow extra recognition for such exceptional people- I advocate for a 6th star on their behalf!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

  • A must for all Star Wars fans!

I, Jedi was simply marvelous. All elements that would have made a good movie: excitement, drama, excellent plots and humor where necessary were present. Further more none of these positive traits overshadowed the other they all coalesce in perfect symbiotic balance. The story totally revolves around an X-Wing pilot from the famous Rogue Squadron, Corran Horn. The story begins humbly where Corran Horn returns from a mission to find his wife missing. Corran then sees a vision of his wife in trouble. This is also where the author really lets on the Corran has inert and untrained Jedi powers. No surprise since this is a Star Wars based novel. Corran soon learns that the Invids, an intergalactic pirate gang, had kidnapped his wife and may be being held hostage on the Invidious their flagship. ...

  • I, Jedi Review

I, Jedi took a new turn in the Star Wars expanded universe. Unlike many of the other Star Wars novels, I, Jedi was a story that revolved around a new character that was never seen on film: Corran Horn. While many of the characters one would expect to see in a Star Wars story are part of the story, Luke Skywalker for example, this one is different since the main protagonist is someone completely created by Michael Stackpole. I, Jedi takes place during the Jedi Academe trilogy and many of the key points from that trilogy are covered in Stackpole's novel. I read I, Jedi before reading the Jedi Academe Trilogy off the recommendation of a good friend. In retrospect, I probably wouldn't have since I knew the Jedi Academe trilogy happened during the same time and would have ended up reading the ...

  • A great instalment of the Star Wars Universe

This is the ONLY first person book wrote in the Star Wars Universe. It is a great story about a man, Corran Horn, rescuing his wife who was kidnapped. Corran is the grandson of a famous Jedi Master from the clone wars. durring the adventure there are space battles and jedi training. Corran is in the group of the original 12 apprentices the Luke Skywalker trains on Yavin. This book also adds some light to the events in the Jedi Acadamy Trillogy that were not told in those books. This is my Favorite book in the expanded universe and one of the best balanced books you will ever read.

  • I, Jedi

This book takes place during the Jedi Academy Trilogy. First off, it is written in the first person, a very different perspective for a Star Wars book. Seeing all that transpires through the eyes of Corran Horn, former CorSec officer and Rogue Squadron Member, all views are his. His personal losses and gains, how he feels to be a Jedi, even the taste of the foods he eats. If you want a new fresh look at what life in the New Republic is like, check this fine book out.

  • Great!

This book is Great! What is really great about it is the 1st person point of view that it is written in. It is a really interesting book and if you are a fan of the star wars books you will love this book. It takes place at the same time that the jedi acadamy trilogy does, so you get two veiws of the same story. I would definetely recomend this book to any star wars fan.
