I'm a knife collector. This knife is one of several Buck knives that I own. I bought this knife because of its price ($29), thinking I would send it to Buck and have them replace its blade. They provide this service for only $10. On examining the knife I realized I liked its worn and well used, some might say abused, condition. Its patina of use appealed to me. That and because the knife was still tight and didn't need the rehabilitation service that Buck offers. Plus, its my theory that this knife did not have a broken blade tip but had been "dubbed off" by a former owner to make it safer in its rigorous use. Buck Folding Hunters and Rangers have an almost dangerously sharp pointed tip that is inappropriate (in my view) for some uses. They're fine knives when used carefully but not necessarily so in some hard working situations. So, this is a fine example of a really good knife that has seen several years of hard use and has held up really well. Its a testament to their quality.Read full review

Buck 110. A True Classic. The 110 is very well made, very very well made. I liked when the symbol on the scales was a hammer driving the blade though steel on some of the pocket knives.. The 110 may very well be the best knife buck has ever produced. I purchased a 110 for myself a couple years ago and I am pleased with the quality and and it just looks realy cool. I purchased this one as a gift. If you dont have one buy one.

It's a newer Buck 110, but the quality is the same as the older ones, perhaps better. Smooth ass silk opening.

A replacement for one that was lost. It was a brand new product in a factory box. Excellent.

An icon of Americana , Everyone knows or have heard the name . Bought my first one in 1977 forty years later I buy another and it's still the same outstanding quality fit and finish and yes it's still stamped U.S.A. to me that means everything .

Buck in my book is the best. Sent a few back for the lifetime warranty and they always came back looking like new. The folding Buck 110 is my favorite and my best year is the one made in 1980. You won't go wrong if you get a Buck 110.
