    Pro: fruit chunks Con: too much "gel".

    I bought this, liked it and appreciate the tanginess of the filling. However, there is an overload of pectin/sauce as compared to fruit. I had peviously bought jars of Amish S/R filling, and found it much too pulpy with no chunks of fruit at all, and a little too sweet. SO: I mix them ti get a more satisfying consistency. Are either of them perfect by themselves...I'd say no. But I didn't see any other choices other than making my own.
