I have been excited to see this film for so long, after following it on social media & reading reviews from international journalists & local journalists. I wasn't disappointed! The main characters, Jacqueline McKenzie & Myles Pollard were engaging, convincing, with Myles Pollard's character going from genuine nice guy to sinister, creepy (even his body movements), edge of my seat "What is he going to do next!". I was drawn to Regg (played by Ben Mortley), who bought humour and a relaxed, smart edge and balance in the first half of the film. Then things get twisted through a science experiment in teleportation, with further twists in the plot. It became layered, and I thoroughly enjoyed it right until the end. When it did end, I could see a sequel easily! Very interesting, surprising & the right amount of control, restraint, & then panic to keep the heart racing. Overall, a very clever film, beautiful ideas with twists & turns to keep you wanting to see more. Great to see an Australian film do so well, and deservedly so.
