    Fascinating read! Worth the effort!

    Fascinating read about real life experiences that gives a glimpse into a short period of history that you don’t often if ever, think about. The individual stories are compelling on their own, but the changing of the “frontier” and what that actually looked like is also riveting! Well written!

    Couldn’t Put It Down

    Fascinating read about cases of children taken captive by Native Americans in Texas in the post-civil war era. If you like Paulette Jiles’ books, including “News of the World”, then this is one for you. I thoroughly enjoyed this well researched book.
