Binding has minimal wear. The majority of pages are undamaged with some creasing or tearing, and pencil underlining of text, but this is minimal. A bit of leather conditioner took care of minor issues with the aged leather cover. Considering what two-volume sets in poor condition sell for, it was a bargain. I bought Volume I in great condition like this one from a different seller, and I now have a two-volume set at far less cost than sets sold together.
