    Review of HP Elitebook 840 g1 extended slice battery

    So this thing can add up to 12 hours of battery life to your laptop, but can be a bit tricky to install especially since the whole thing feels so flimsy. Basically there are two faint lines on the end facing you that you need to align with the corresponding ridges on the back of your laptop, and drag it back at just the right angle to try and get the hooks to catch. Then you need to press the other end down, making sure to slide the latch to the left. Once you've clicked everything in place (including the battery contact on the top left), slide it to the right to lock it in place. Reverse these steps to uninstall. Graphical instructions also visible on the back. Also you probably need to remove the back cover (even though you can install it with the cover on) and avoid CPU intensive ...
