    portable and practical drum machine

    This is a very easy-to-use drum machine, with a lot of features while being inexpensive. It can sync to or from other Korg Volca machines, as well as other machines that produce or accept a CV pulse sync (such as Teenage Engineering Pocket Operators). It accepts a midi input, which could be neat if you want to control it with drum pads or other midi controller. The sequencer and editing are very easy to understand. With some odd sounds such as an agogo and a lofi 'crash', and parameter settings that are extremely wide, this is also great for making more experimental-sounding beats.

    Korg Volca Beats - it rocks!

    I had heard good things about this unit from several different sources and when I found my example on eBay, I jumped on it right away. While it doesn't use acoustic drum samples, you don't miss those tones, this thing is basically an old 808 in a smaller box. It gets all those amazing sounds, has a bunch of tweak-able features, includes 8 user programmable slots and can be sync'ed with other machines or just send a click. Also has a built-in delay for some dub style breaks, which is the cherry on top of this total fun machine. Love it, 5 Stars!

    Korg Vloca beats drum machine

    The Korg Volca is one of the better drum machines. It's small and runs on batteries as well as a 9v plug. It even has speakers on it to use without an amp. When plugged into an amp, it really delivers quality sound. All in all, it's a good buy.

    A neat little drum machine for electro beats

    I could play with this thing for hours. For electro beats at least, it's a pretty versatile little drum sequencer. The controls are intuitive and easy to get the hang of (more so, in my opinion, than some of the other entries in the volca series) and it's just tons of fun to use.
