I'm chuffed, (get it?), to have one this item, not only does it come with a Mashima motor and Romford wheels, but there are two sets of chassis frames. I thought that there was by studying the pictures, but you're never sure until the items arrive and sure enough there is. Which represents excellent value for money, as I've an old Wills Finecast kit with no chassis and these will fit straight under. Recommended seller, thank you.

    Good value

    The kit is old, and fiddly to put together, but it is excellent value. It can also be made so the gates open and close. The gates can be cut down to make gates for a footpath or narrow road.

    Looks great on my layout.

    On the whole this kit is very good; it is let down slightly by the need to file a few of the locating lugs, which are sometimes slightly too large to fit into the slots on the bases, but on the whole it's a decent kit, and looks great on my layout.

    Excellent detail and great adaptability

    I have three irregular spaced 00 tracks across which I wanted to install a level crossing. I originally purchased a gate set built for a triple track crossing - but one gate was so wide in order to span two tracks, it looked unrealistic in the model setting. As an alternative, I purchased two sets of these Peco gates. The detail is great - I only used one set of the side fences\track access gates and six of the eight gates. One double set cover the parallel tracks and the other set, the branch line. They take acrylic paint and weathering very well. Very pleased and great value for the money.
