Without giving up any plot details, let me say that this is a very scary movie The charactersf are, for he most part, tintelligently portrayed. Although at times, they do seem a bit naive. The story centers around a writer and his family while he researches his latest book about a local murder. What this writer has failed to tell his wife and children is that the house they are renting while researching, is in fact the house where the murders took place.
