    the best version of dracula.

    this is the only really satisfying vampire movie i've ever seen,dracula related or not. deeply gothic(not goth)and with interesting and strangely refreshing changes...lucy is dracula's antagonist,van helsing is a doddering old sceptic,and then there's what ultimately becomes of jonathan harker.a high point for herzog,kinski,and herzog regular florian fricke(popol vuh) who does the soundtrack.

    I can't get enough of Count Dracula's story.
