When he discovers he has an infant son, he decides he wants to make sure he can take care of the child. He meets a mechanic and ex-convict who knows how to rob banks and teaches him how to pull off that crime. His actions cause his life to become intertwined with police officer Avery (Bradley Cooper) who ends up chasing after the fleeing robber after one of his heists.

    Great actors like to challenge themselves to see improvement. Gosling is up with the ‘greats’ but this one fails very slightly to deliver for him (my opinion!£.
