    I say this soundtrack is high-energy, uplifting goodness. That's always in high-demand in my book.

    After years of procrastination (and being reminded by Night Ranger's title track on the so-called "oldies" station), I finally saw The Secret of my Success and enjoyed it thoroughly (the comedy, the actors, the scenery, the aesthetic, etc.). Of course, I also thoroughly enjoyed the soundtrack. Surprisingly, this most '80s title -movie and/or soundtrack- isn't mentioned as often as, say, Flashdance. It's definitely as '80s as it gets, but while some may write it off as over-produced '80s cheese, I say it's high-energy, uplifting goodness. That's always in high-demand in my book. All tracks are great: Night Ranger's, Pat Benatar's, Bananarama's, Taxxi's, Restless Heart's, Roger Daltrey's, Danny Peck's & Nancy Shanks', and David Foster's. Speaking of which...
