        a worthy investment

        I made the leap from a pearl demonator p932, to the demon drive p3002d, and I have to say I'm happy with my decision. I wanted something that was still longboats buy with a decent bearing in the heel hinge, as my old pedals were squeaking and clattering with some foot techniques. I've been wanting to try direct drives for a long time, and granted there is a massive learning curve. They are quite good at showing you where you've got bad habits, and this has helped me improve my playing. I'd say I pretty much had to start at 3/4 of my normal speed and then work my way back up, but once you get faster these things really start to fly. Build quality is really nice, they feel very solid, with only a little bit of side to side movement in the footboard. Adjustability seems endless, which took ...
