Brilliantly Funny Series BUT Bad Transfer to Dvd
We absolutely love this series & after recording it every morning from Channel 4 we decided to buy the box set. We didn't bother reading all the reviews available online for the DVD box set but having purchased the set ourselves we have to sadly agree with other reviewers that the transfer quality of the DVD set is dire! It's so grainy & distorted that we felt it was just unwatchable. We really struggled to watch it and had to return the set for a refund. In this day & age & with numerous other box sets of old TVs programs available that are completely watchable & clear to view it's a travesty that whoever produced this box set has done such a terrible job. We sadly have to now keep recording the series from the tv. A brilliantly funny series with the feel good factor that we would have loved to be able to have on DVD.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

The old stuff is still the best
On my various visits to the USA or "territories" that take US TV I have always watched "Everybody Loves Raymond". It appeared here in the UK for a while (I think on one of the minor satellite channels) and then disappeared.! I re-acquainted myself with ELR recently whilst in the West Indies and then thought I must have the box set. What a bargain - all the episodes ever produced PLUS the extras, as to how it ever got on to "air" (only just by a quirk of good fortune it appears!). So now able to work my way through ALL the episodes and re-watch some of the classic funny bits. I can't believe how long ago this series started.!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I love this programme - it's our go to comedy at home. We were tired of watching our video taped programmes so decided to invest in the series on DVD. If you want great laughs, fantastic dialogue and some of the best comedy actors in the world then watch Ray and his family. The comedy is so true to life and the relationship between Ray, Debra his wife; and his parents, who live across the street, never dates. These shows always provides laughter and entertainment. Perfect box set , for a rainy day. Hilariously funny .
Raymond and family have come together , but in a box set . How cool I'd that , no more waiting for it to come on in the morning, or trying and failing to stream it with this set you have laughter at your fingertips . Who ever thought Ray would turn out to be gay . Ha only joking . But be aware most screen ed programs are gentile however they're some episodes that do have the odd swear we'd .
