    Good phone, good value; won't suit everyone

    I bought this for my 92 year old mother, who has failing eyesight. The phone appears to be well made and the compact clamshell design is good. My mum likes the charging cradle, as it is easier than plugging a cable into a small hole. Whilst the large numbers on the keys and the display appear very clear to good sighted people, my Mum still struggles to see them with her macular degeneration. Unfortunately, it is difficult for her to feel which key is which and most functions have to be accessed using the screen, which she also cannot see. The phone works well, looks nice and is very good value but its usefulness will depend on the severity of the user's sight loss.

    Good simple phone, but poor texting capabilities

    The size of the phone together with the ease of use when calling or answering was good. the charging cradle is a good idea and works well.The texting capabilities was poor, the manual does not explain how to use predictive texting and when how to do this was identified, the use was unusable. Alternative selection was very hard to see and and choosing the correct one was virtually impossible, it was easier to type in full - defeats the object of predictive texting. All in all a good phone providing you do not need to text.

    Great Phone and such Good Value for Money

    I bought this telephone for my stepdad who has vascular dementia and was struggling with a phone that had much smaller numbers and a more complicated menu. However, he has found everything about the TT Phone Star so easy.
