    great for spectator applications

    I attend our local philharmonic, but I can't afford the front seats, so I found that with a decent pair of Binoculars, I can sit center in the nose blleed section and enjoy everything. I have tried several Chinese brand units with terrible results (poor optics, cheaply made bodies, poor low light vision). I finaly decided to try a brand name, and what a difference a couple of bucks makes. these are perfect for my application. Well made, sturdy build, great optics. Forget the chinese stuff at any price. These are great for spectator applications.

    What you pay for

    These are a decent set, though be it they are on the low end of the scale. Good for keeping in your truck. Not waterproof or fog proof so I think the first time these see moisture they will fail.
