    Kindle keyboard

    I have a few readers and a kindle keyboard was the first I had. When it finally died recently I realised I missed it over and above the newer styles as the old faithful with long battery life, good memory size and ease of adding content. It's not for browsing the internet, watching video or playing apps I can do that on the iPad mini or kindle fire. This is an ereader in the purest sense and all the better for the lack of distraction. It is also easy to read in full sunlight where the Matt screen is a real advantage.

    Item doesn't work at all, stuck on the screensaver. No amount of charging and resetting can get it to do anything apart from occasionally show the yellow charging light. Haven't been able to get any behaviour at all from the screen.

    It is a tablet of long standing and has proved its worth. Its big brother is of the same parts however it also has 3 G which gives it the edge but that does not detract from the quality or the value of this model! There are so many features that are included for example the brightness, to the adjustment of the size of print to suit your taste it is all in all a most suitable tablet to suit all tastes. The selection of books that are made available each day for as little as 99p! Buy and enjoy!

    Super easy to use and easy to read off of

    works exactly as it should although it was a pain to register it and had to use the webchat for it to work correctly. Battery last well and nice and clear screen. Super easy to use as "old fashioned" buttons and a keyboard. You can choose the font, serifs, word size, space size between lines , etc

    Book-sized, quality ereader that's stood the Test of Time!

    Early kindle but very well-made and easily serviced. Its thickness means screws are used where later thinner models are just stuck together with gunge. The 3g model is a tour-de-force and not being a touchscreen means no greasy marks. One-handed operation. Why don't Amazon make a Paperwhite with buttons?
