    The item was listed as new but arrived clearly used and improperly packed, which caused further damage. The seller initially offered a partial refund but later backpedaled and insisted only on a return, which I decided not to pursue. Very misleading and disappointing experience.

    When the item was listed it was sealed with a single layer of tape which seemed like the original seals, from the information given to me, apparently i was incorrect, the option of a partial refund was there but i did decide to have it be returned since there was of course the chance of it ceasing to work. i tried to take care of the customer to the best of my abilities. Im terribly sorry it did not work out the way it should have.

    Disappointed

    I am very disappointed in the product. First of all it is hard to turn and adjust the darkness on the lens which makes it more easy to turn your focus ring at the same time. Secondly a variable filter should NOT be used with a wide angle lens as you get an X on your image. YET the image on the box show a wide angle image. I feel deceived.

    Considering price to results, this products deserves a five star.

    Compared to top of the line variable ND's it wont get the five star I gave it. But when price plays a factor, and in most cases it does, you'll get stunning results that deserves a five star.

    Vivitar Variable ND Filter

    Although it is common to get what you pay for, this ND filter seems to be quite well made, A little hard to turn but it may loosen in time. I don't notice any banding in my photos or color shift. I am quite happy for now.
