    Must have for gamecube

    Makes the gamecube something worth having over the Wii/Modded Wii U. You can play Gameboy, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance games without emulation. This means no glitches or slowdowns and full compatibility. Don't get the bootup disc. The official software isn't as good as the homebrew software "Gameboy Interface" created by extrems. Research how to get swiss on the gamecube and get the "Gameboy Interface" which improves visuals, input lag and has many more features. It is free if you already have a way to boot swiss. If you have a modded wii with memory card slot you can actually boot into the gameboy interfce using a Windwaker Hack, 007 Agent Underfire, or Melee Hack.

    It's official Nintendo hardware that attaches to the bottom of the GameCube flawlessly. (Actually making it a cube) By official hardware I also mean an official Game Boy, Game Boy color & Game Boy Advance player, not and aftermarket emulation. I personally like it because I can play my classic GB games on the big screen. For example: I can now play the original Mario Land that I remember being very small, Mario was tiny on the screen and at the time I only had the original Game Boy so it was multiple green looking pixels and very blurry because of the lagging frames. I play SML on the big screen now, The game wasn't as good as I thought but it was PLAYABLE! I also enjoy the fact that all of the good RPGs for GB,GBC,GBA I can now play comfortably on the big screen with one system.

    Great device for a great machine

    Great peripheral for the gamecube, and it makes it more of a cube too! What’s not to love about this little thing. This thing pairs up great with the GBI - not only is this software free but outputs better quality visuals than the Official Boot-Up Disk for the GBP. All you need is an SD card adapter for gamecube or you can use a softmodded wii to put the homebrew software on a gamecube memory card.

    Great for playing Gameboy on the big screen!

    It's one of the best ways to officially play gameboy games on the big screen. Sure you could buy games on the Nintendo eshop and play through emulation that way, but this is real GBA hardware that attaches to the Gamecube and it works like a charm. You will need the start up disc to boot to the GBA menu. This can also be a great collection item and great conversation starter.

    Playing gameboy games on a CRT is worth it

    If you have an adapter on your gamecube, you won't regret playing gameboy advance games on it! The games look even better on a crt tv. Something about a bigger screen just makes it a worthwhile experience, especially if you use a gameboy as a controller - I found the gamecube controller a bit awkward for some games. I highly recommend getting the gamecube gameboy player as part of your collection. Also, don't forget you need the gameboy player disc as well to use it on your gamecube.
