    Monopod for Video use

    This monopod and head work well with my canon 7D MkII and the cage, (or my Canon C100 Mk II), plus the follow focus, Atomos Ninja 2, battery packs, and my Tascam DR60 MkII, and Rode mic. Though this weight is right at the very limits of the 502HD head, it still works nicely as my hands are on the camera most of the time with this rig. It sets up very easy, and when fully loaded still gives some stability due to the spring loaded legs which if you need too you can detach, but for what I use it for, I probably never will. The head is nice, as it is detachable with a flat base, making it usable on other equipment where a flat base is needed, such as on my camera slider, etc. The movement you can get with the camera with this tripod is very nice and suitable and I would definitely recommend ...

    Monopod Review

    It does exactly what I wanted it to. Lighter than a tripod, and faster to set up when needed. The leg latches are so much better than my old tripod, and quicker. But be careful. The legs slide quickly. I've achieved two blood blisters when I didn't get my fingers out of the way fast enough. But that's a small price to pay while I get used to its efficiency.

    Happy purchase

    Definitely not the most compact monopod in the market but the construction is superb. Can get a tad wobbly when using as a tripod when fully extended but I am guessing I wasn't supposed to be doing that in the first place. Overall very happy with the purchase. Can't go wrong with Manfrotto.
