Ring rear fog lights.
I bought a pair of these to fit on the back of my 1990 Caterham 7 which I've switched over to LED lamps.......I'll save the planet single-handed. As a unit, they are are really solid with a good length of wire to connect to the original loom. For the Caterham owner, they look roughly the same as the original factory items (which were cheap & nasty) so the new units aren't an immediately obvious upgrade. When I turned them on, I know that I'll definitely be seen in reduced visibility but the driver behind me probably won't be sending me a Christmas card because they are seriously bright. Sturdy unit easy to fit.
This seems to be a sturdy unit with no access to the inside. That means that it's a sealed unit that doesn't need opening to wire it up. Simple to fit, just thread the wires through the previous fixing hole and use a 4mm drill to cut the two fixing holes. Connect the wires behind the bumper (or wherever you mount it) and a neat job is achieved very quickly. Much brighter than the previous filament lamp that was fitted and lies much closer to the bodywork to help prevent damage when reversing my trailer!This seems to be a sturdy unit with no access to the inside. Used 2 of these as extra brake lights as mine were part of a cluster that did not seem to show up very well. Obviously self-test is not really a good test so got my brother to follow me and concluded that they were twice as bright as the rest. Easy to wire as very low current usage means no problem with canbus systems. Recommended.
