I bought this 18" by 12" coarse foam sheet to use as a replacement for my standard pond pump/filter(s). Cut to size, it fits my CUP 129 pump/filter (which has 2 foam filters; one around the UV bulb & one at the water inlet end) and due to its size I will get the equivalent of two sets of filters. Therefore I have saved some money, plus I now have an upgraded carbon filter in my pond filter. Only installed the foam filter today, so I cannot vouch for its longevity yet, but it seems adequate.
