Very pleased with this ,has got my old Roberts radio back up and running for a small price .Having looked at the prices to replace the radio am well chuffed !

Fine if you do not plan to listen to long or medium wave!
The issue with this (and with most other modern chargers) is that it contains an inadequately screened switch-mode power supply and this chucks out huge quantities of RF interference. This is not normally a problem with VHF/FM unless you get a really bad sample but it will play havoc with AM (long and medium wave) reception, reducing it to nothing but noise So providing you are planning to use your vintage Roberts radio only on FM (and many people probably will) then one of these should be fine. If you want usable AM reception, you will need to find one of the old-fashioned heavy-weight adaptors which contain a mains transformer and not a switch-mode power supply. Or use batteries.
