This bushing is designed to be installed in “piggy back” style amp/speaker cabinets. I purchased thiese to install in a 1966 blackface Fender Bassman 2x12” speaker cabinet in order to to accept the piggyback thumb screws that hold these amp heads to the cabinet when the cabinet is tilted back on its legs. Works great. Easy installation (holes must be drilled into the speaker cabinet top to receive these bushings). Tap the bushings in flush with the cabinet surface and then screw on the washer and nut from inside the cabinet. EZ PZ, done! Once th bushing has been installed you can screw in the thumb screw. Voila - done!

I have a '65 Fender Bassman Amp Head and Cabinet with 2-12 inch speakers that I recently had to do some repair on the cabinet. I needed these piggy back bushings to be able to attach the head to the cabinet. Not easy to find originals. Thanks.

This is exactly what I needed to restore my 1965 Fender Bassman 2 x 12 speaker cabinet. These bushings are high quality, great looking, and exact replicas of the original ones.
