The seat is fine if a little flimsy (as you would expect for the price). The rear "feat" don't touch the toilet bowl edge so the whole things bends when you sit on it. The fixing bolts and anchors are an awful design too. Main problem is the size of the circular "adjuster" that the seat clips onto. It is huge (6cm wide) and if your seat has a raised "lip" at the back, like mine, it doesn't fit. I had to cut them in half to fit.

Item received. To be totally honest, I was disappointed with how flimsy the item is, nothing like the one I was replacing but I guess for the money it's to be expected. Might be better spending a bit more and getting a decent one.

You gets what you pay for
As a soft closing toilet seat it does what it says on the box. However it is made to a budget and this is apparent in looks and use, the plastic is very thin bends alarmingly when in use and the aperture seems smaller than average. On the plus side it is not that uncomfortable, the soft closing mechanism works well and was easy to fit with no tools.

Good seat, rubbish hinges
The seat is comfortable and the soft-close damper works as it should. However the hinge attachment system is a victim of its own adjustability. The separate hinges are each attached to the porcelain using an expanding bolt mechanism which allows rotation of the hinge base to position the seat attachment pillars at the correct distance apart. A good idea in theory, but it’s impossible to tighten the bolts enough and secure the pivots in one fixed position. The result is that the seat moves around on the porcelain while you’re sitting on it - I really can’t recommend it. As a mechanical engineer I’ll no doubt modify the system to make it safe to use however, out of the box the hinge attachment is garbage.The seat is comfortable and the soft-close damper works as it should. Not luxury but good value
It's quite flimsy but wow is it cheap. It's not luxury for your bum, but it does the job. I only need it to last for a year and I believe it will go past that. The width of the seat area isn't that much, but I'm really not going to complain at under a tenner. If you want absolute luxury, over 25 quid is your market. If you need something cheap that works, buy this. Oh and it's easier to fit than many of the pricey units. I know, as I'm a residential landlord. I fit a lot of loo seats. It's quite flimsy but wow is it cheap. It's not luxury for your bum, but it does the job. I only need it to last for a year and I believe it will go past that. At this price you can't go wrong
Ignore the odd negative review, today's modern toilet seat are all a bit lightweight not like years ago.. This is as good as any toilet seat out there but half the price. Make sure you fully tighten the bolts all the way to prevent movement. Only reason I didn't give five stars is it was a little too narrow for my large toilet and the width could be a little wider.
