Thought it worth buying a genuine fileter after 20years.
I've had my Hayter lawn mower 20 years and never changed the air filter (the manual says just to check and clean it once a year). Can't say I've noticed much difference in the performance of the engine with the new filter but for 50p a year I still think it is a bargain. Not sure why this eBay survey has asked if it is easy to start. Standard Filter
Original Equipment Standard Air filter which unsurprisingly works!. Standard rcommended consumable but its predessor has lsted for years. Do not anticipating will require replacing before AD 2040.
